American Soldiers I Want Your Stories

I have finally had enough of the "military bashing" coming at me from the news agencies. I didn't even want to take the time to establish another url, so I'm using this site that I already operate. Last night while driving my kids home from my mother's, a soldier from Idaho came on the radio. He was telling the host how he wished more of the positive stories would come out of Iraq, rather than the negative. What positive? All I've heard is Haditha, military atrocities in Iraq, and the murders of innocent Iraqi civilians. This young soldier told about the day civilians in Iraq were allowed to use one of the airports again. He was so proud of it, that they had helped in Iraq. I thought the American military was there to hurt and kill the Iraqis. Or so it seems from listening and watching the American media.

Well, I want to fill these pages full of the good stories coming out of Iraq. American soldiers and your families, you are invited to email me at webmaster@valoriecanloseweight.com with your positive stories. I don't care if its firsthand or hearsay, send them to me. Please do your own proofreading, I am just going to put in the html tags and slap it up.

I am so upset

I did a search to find the names of the seven marines and one navy man being held on charges at camp Pendleton. I found name after name of soldiers being held in connection with other "incidents". We are punishing our soldiers for being soldiers now? In these few minutes that I have tonight I will start my list, I hope to work on it more tomorrow night.

Al-Hamdania incident, April 26th

Seven marines and one sailor are facing many charges for allegedly killing a handicapped man, then planting an AK-47 and shovel near his body. The accused are: Marine Sgt. Lawrence Hutchins, Marine Cpl. Trent Thomas, Navy hospital corpsman 3rd class Melson Bacos, Marine Lance Cpl. Tyler Jackson, Marine PFC John J Jodka, Marine Lance Cpl. Jerry Shumate, Marine Lance Cpl. Robert Pennington, and Marine Cpl. Marshall Magincalda.

They have now "confessed" after several interrogation sessions that lasted up to 8 hours without any food, water, or restroom breaks.
